The Founders
Remi Bello is a Nigerian-American who was born in Brooklyn, NY to an American mother and a Nigerian father. He grew up in Nigeria and is widely traveled across Africa. Prior to B&M, Mr. Bello worked in political and economic risk research for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and eStandardsForum in New York City. He once worked for Congressman Dick Gephardt, a former Majority and Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives. A former political, economic and business journalist, Mr. Bello is a prolific writer, who has been published more than 150 times. He ghostwrote "Tomorrow Unfolds," a memoir by Dr. Walter Meyer, a former Special Assistant to President Lyndon Baines Johnson. Mr. Bello holds a BSC in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in International Economics (with a regional focus on Africa) from Columbia University in the City of New York.
